The Chinese smartphone brand Vivo has officially introduced its latest Vivo S19 series and the smartphone series includes the vanilla variant and the Pro variant. The devices feature impressive design and specifications. The smartphone series features an 80W fast charging solution and they run on the Android 14 operating system out of the box. Everything about Vivo S19 series
The newly announced Vivo S19 and S19 Pro feature a 6.78-inch OLED screen along with a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 4,500 nits peak brightness. The display of both devices is integrated with a fingerprint scanner. The vanilla variant features a flat display while the big brother of the smartphone series features curved edges.
Vivo is offering the devices with a pill-shaped design on the back panel with a circular module on the top and oblong-shaped module below. The latest Vivo S19 Pro also features IP68 and IP69 dust and water-resistant ratings.
Speaking about the camera department, the Vivo S19 features a 50MP OIS-enabled main sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. On the other hand, the newly announced Vivo S19 Pro comes with a 50MP Sony IMX921 with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP OIS-enabled telephoto unit with 50x digital zoom. The devices also come with ring LED flash and a 50MP front-facing camera. The smartphone series will enable you to capture portraits up to three focal lengths with the Pro variant also offering 85mm ability.
The Vivo S19 has the power of the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 mobile processor while the Vivo S19 Pro is also powered by the Dimensity 9200+. It is worth mentioning that the chipsets are the same as the previous generation. Both devices feature up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. The latest Vivo S19 comes with a large 6,000mAh and the Pro variant houses 5,500mAh cells. Both devices feature 80W wired charging and they run on the latest Android 14 with OriginOS 4 out of the box.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the Vivo S19 starts at CNY 2,499 while the big brother of the smartphone series has a starting price of CNY 3,299. The devices are currently available in the market of China.
