The popular Chinese smartphone brand Vivo has unveiled its latest smartphone series called Vivo V23 in the market of India and the smartphone series includes two devices Vivo V23 as well as Vivo V23 Pro. Both devices are coming with similar specifications and the same powered by the MediaTek mobile processor. The company has also introduced the smartphone series with colour changing back panel and it is also running on Android 12 out of the box. Specifications of Vivo V23 series
The vanilla variant of the latest Vivo smartphone series features a 6.44-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution along with a wide notch on the top of the screen to accommodate the front facing camera. The device is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC and that is paired with up to 12GB of RAM along with up to 256GB of internal storage.
Speaking about the camera department, the device features a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.89 aperture lens, along with an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens with an f/2.2 aperture lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor with an f/2.4 aperture lens. On the front, the device features a dual camera setup and that is in the combination of a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.0 aperture lens and an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor with an f/2.28 aperture lens.
Coming to the latest Vivo V23 Pro sports a 6.56-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display along with 2376 x 1080 pixels resolution and a wide notch. The device is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC along with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
The device is featuring a 108-megapixel primary sensor on the back and apart from this, everything remains the same as the vanilla variant of the smartphone series. The devices feature an in-display fingerprint scanner for the additional layer of security.
Regarding the connectivity options, both the latest Vivo V23 5G and Vivo V23 Pro 5G features 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, USB Type-C, USB OTG, and Bluetooth v5.2. It is also featuring GPS, Beidou, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and NavIC.
Speaking about the battery department, Vivo V23 5G features a 4,200mAh battery, while Vivo V23 Pro 5G offers a 4,300mAh battery and the devices support 44W fast charging. It is running on Android 12 out of the box with Funtouch 12 on top of it. The latest Vivo smartphones feature a fluorite AG glass back and the same will enable the new devices to change the colour of the back panel when hit by UV rays in sunlight.
Pricing and availability
The Vivo V23 5G is priced at ₹29,990 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant while the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is priced at ₹34,990. On the other hand, Vivo V23 Pro 5G will be available with a price tag of ₹38,990 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and ₹43,990 for the 12GB + 256GB storage variant. The vanilla variant will be available from January 19 while the Vivo V23 Pro smartphone will be available from January 13 and you guys can able to purchase the new Vivo smartphones via its official website and Flipkart.
