The popular Chinese smartphone brand Vivo already introduced the Vivo V40 series globally and now it seems that the company is gearing up to launch the devices in the market of India as today the vanilla variant of the smartphone series has received the Indian certification clearance.
It is spotted that the Vivo V40 smartphone is listed on the Indian certification platform BIS and it is essential to launch any new device in the market of India. The listing does not reveal any information about the device but we believe that the phone will feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1.5K resolution.
The device features a 50MP f/1.9 main camera and a 50MP f/2.0 ultra-wide-angle camera on the back. It has the power of the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset along with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM with 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, and 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM with 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The device has a 5500 mAh battery paired with 80W fast charging.
