The popular Chinese smartphone brand Vivo is expected to expand its V series in the global market by launching the new Vivo V40 and V40 Pro. Today the official-looking renders of the vanilla variant of the smartphone series appear online with the important specification details. The upcoming Vivo V40 smartphone comes with a large, oval-shaped camera module on the back panel with a smaller circular housing dual camera set up along with the branding of Zeiss.
Below the primary camera of the device, we can see another oval cutout containing Vivo’s signature Aura light and an additional sensor. We don’t have any true about the purpose of that particular sensor. The device will be available in at least two color options including purple and grey/silver.
The device will be coming with the curved-edge display along with minimal bezels, and the device will feature a punch-hole cutout at the centre position of the screen.
It is expected that the upcoming Vivo V40 smartphone will be coming with a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution. The device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 mobile processor along with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
The Vivo phone will come with a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. The upcoming Vivo V40 is expected to come with a large 5,500mAh battery along with 80W fast charging. The device will be supporting dual-SIM support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. It will be running on the latest Android 14 operating system out of the box and the device is also expected to come with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
