The popular Chinese smartphone brand Vivo has introduced its first ever mixed reality headset called the Vivo Vision Explorer Edition along with 8K dual displays and the device comes with a lightweight design. So let’s get into the article to check out the full details.

The latest Vivo Vision Explorer Edition comes with just 398 grams of weight. The device is measuring 83mm tall and 40mm thick. It also features adjustable face masks along with different foam padding options, and a dual-ring strap.
It also comes with dual 8K Micro-OLED displays with 3840 × 3552 pixels resolution per eye. The color reproduction of the device looks solid with 94% DCI-P3 coverage and impressive color accuracy. Each headset is calibrated at the factory.
The magnetic optical lenses of the device are capable to manage prescriptions from 100 to 1000 degrees without compromising the visual experience. The latest Vivo Vision Explorer Edition has the power of the Snapdragon XR2+ processor and the device runs on OriginOS Vision interface on top. It also offers features including immersive movie watching, spatial sports replays, and multi-window productivity setups.
It supports the passthrough feature and it offers 13ms latency for full-color video. The device is capable to track your eyes with 1.5-degree precision and recognizes hand gestures across 26 degrees of freedom within a 175-degree vertical range.
The company is setting up demo stations in 12 authorized stores across major Chinese cities from August 22 and the company is yet to confirm the pricing and the sales date.
