The popular Chinese smartphone brand Vivo has recently introduced its new folding device in the markets of China, called the Vivo X Fold 5. And the device will be launched in the markets of India later this month. And today, the launch of the device for the markets of India is officially teased. It is confirmed that the upcoming Vivo X Fold 5 will come with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and the device will feature a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50MP main sensor with Sony IMX921, f/1.57 aperture and OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP 3x telephoto lens using the Sony IMX882 sensor. The device also features two 20MP front cameras and one of them will be available on the cover screen and one inside.
The device is certified IPX8 and IPX9 for water resistance, IP5X for dust resistance, and it will be capable to manage temperatures as low as minus 20 degrees Celsius. The hinge uses a carbon fiber support system and the Vivo X Fold 5 houses a 6000mAh dual-cell battery with 80W wired charging and 40W wireless charging. It will also feature a Shortcut Button and the same is also included for quick access to apps and functions.
It will be available through Flipkart in the country and let’s wait for the official launch in India.
