After all the leaks, rumours, and teasers, the Chinese smartphone brand Vivo has launched its new X30 series and it coming with Vivo X30 and Vivo X30 Pro smartphones. Both the devices are powered by Samsung’s Exynos processor and it is coming with a great camera setup. Having said that, the vanilla valiant as well as the Pro variant comes with similar specifications but the camera department makes a difference between them, as the vanilla variant offers a triple rear camera setup while the Pro variant offers Quad camera setup. Moreover, both the devices are coming with the ability of the next generation telecommunication chipset 5G. Specifications of Vivo X30 series
The new Vivo X30 series coming with 6.44 inch full HD+ super AMOLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution, along with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 100% DCI P3 colour gamut, the smartphones also feature a punch-hole design. Both the variants of the new X30 powered by Exynos 980 processor and paired with 8GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the new devices coming with 128 GB and 256 GB of internal storage.
Moving to the camera department, the X30 Pro rocks quad cameras at back and that’s in the combination of a 64 MP f/1.8 camera with a 26.4mm focal length, followed by an 8 MP ultrawide angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture, 16mm focal length and a 112° field of view; a 32 MP f/2.0 professional portrait camera with a 50mm focal length; 13 MP Super telephoto lens that enables 2x optical zoom, 5x hybrid zoom, and 60x digital zoom pictures. While the vanilla variant i.e. X30 features a triple rear cameras – 64-megapixel main camera with f/1.8 lens, an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture, and a 32-megapixel with f/2.0 aperture. Both the smartphones features a 32 MP front-facing camera with f/2.45 aperture.
Regarding the connectivity options, the devices support 5G, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac dual-band, Bluetooth 5, GPS/GLONASS, and USB Type-C port. For security, both the devices support the in-display fingerprint scanner along with the traditional security options.
The Vivo X30 and X30 Pro becoming the first devices to come running the latest custom skin – FunTouch OS 10 that brings Multi-Turbo 2.5, a revamped UI, dynamic wallpapers, and a few software optimizations, and that’s based on Android 10. This new X30 series is backed by a 4,250 mAh battery with 33W Flash Charge fast charging technology.
Pricing and availability
The Vivo X30 starts at 3,298 yuan while the Pro model starts at 3,998 yuan. The devices are now up for pre-order in China and will go on sale from 24th December.
