After confirming that the upcoming Vivo X300 Ultra will be the world’s first smartphone to feature a 200-megapixel Sony LYT-901 sensor as its primary camera, now the company has officially confirmed the periscope telephoto camera.
The top most executive of Vivo has confirmed that the upcoming Vivo X300 Ultra will feature a fifth-generation ZEISS 200-megapixel “Thanos” periscope telephoto camera based on a Samsung HP0 sensor. It will also feature Vivo’s BlueImage imaging technology which brings optimisations in areas including colour accuracy, autofocus performance, HDR processing, and power efficiency.
Vivo will be introducing a large-sensor telephoto lens with 3° optical image stabilization which brings back the previous gimbal-style stabilization concept. nce by two to three times, delivering what Vivo describes as gimbal-level steadiness.
The telephoto camera is capable to achieve CIPA 7.0-level professional stabilization, and the upcoming Vivo X300 Ultra will come as the world’s first flagship phone to feature dual 200-megapixel cameras. The device is also expected to feature a Sony LYT-828 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 5-megapixel multispectral sensor for color accuracy.
