The popular Chinese smartphone brand Vivo will be launching its new flagship smartphone series dubbed the Vivo X500 series next month and today the Vivo X500 Pro Max appears on the popular benchmarking platform Geekbench with the important specifications. Going through the listing, the upcoming Vivo X500 Pro Max test unit (model V2610) has shown up on Geekbench Browser and it has the power of the unreleased MediaTek processor labeled “MT6995(ENG).” This is widely believed to be the Dimensity 9600 Pro mobile processor.
MediaTek is expected to launch the processor next month which means September 2026. The benchmarking listing shows an eight-core design split into three clusters. It also comes with a dual-prime-core setup including two cores that can hit up to 4.55 GHz, three cores peaking at 4.35 GHz, and three cores running at a base of 3.10 GHz.
