The popular Chinese smartphone brand Vivo has recently unveiled its new Vivo X80 series and the same is now available in the market of China and globally as well. Vivo will be launching the smartphone series in India on May 18 and before that, the details regarding the Indian variants of the smartphone series surfaced online. According to reports by MySmartPrice and Pricebaba, the Vivo X80 will be official in the country in two variants – 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. It is also reported that the device will be available in the colour options such as Cosmic Black and Urban.
On the other hand, the Vivo X80 Pro will be available with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage and the same will be available in black colour option only.
The source did not reveal the information related to the pricing of the Vivo X80 Pro but it is to reported that the vanilla variant of the smartphone series will have a price tag of ₹56,990. The device packs a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It has a VC liquid cooling solution with a soaking plate covering an area of 4285mm².
Speaking about the camera department, the handset comes with a triple camera setup on the back. It supports the world’s first Sony IMX866 primary sensor. It packs a 50MP sensor and comes with an f/1.75 aperture. Moreover, the device supports a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 12MP portrait sensor . There is a 32MP selfie snapper.
The device got power from a 4,500mAh battery with 80W fast-charging support. The device needs only 11 minutes to charge 50%. The X80 Pro series comes with Android 12 OS-based OriginOS Ocean out of the box.

The Vivo X80 Pro series features a 6.78 inch E5 LTPO AMOLED display with a 1000Hz touch sampling rate and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device supports a 2K resolution as well as a peak brightness of 1500 nits. The area for fingerprint scanner is a large area and we can use two fingers to unlock our smartphone.
The device comes with two different processors. One variant houses the 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC with up to 12GB of RAM. It packs up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. The other version supports the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC with 12GB of RAM. It houses up to 512GB of internal storage.
