Along with the Vivo X90, Vivo has officially introduced the Vivo X90 Pro and Pro Plus. The Pro model is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 mobile processor while the Pro Plus model is coming with the power of the newly unveiled Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile processor, and it becomes the first smartphone to arrive with the new Snapdragon flagship mobile processor. Both devices are coming with Vivo V2 ISP for a better photography experience. So without making any further delay let’s dive into the article to check out what the devices offer out-of-the-box.
Everything about Vivo X90 Pro and Pro Plus
Both devices are featuring a 6.78-inch OLED display with curved edges and a punch-hole cutout at the centre position of the screen. The Pro model is coming with FHD+ resolution while the Pro Plus model features 2K resolution. Both devices feature a 120Hz refresh rate along with 1,300 nits peak brightness and HDR10+ support.
The devices are featuring a circular protruding camera module and a horizontal metal bridge below it and the same is having a text which reads ‘Xtreme Imagination’. The camera of the devices are co-engineered by Vivo and Zeiss. The Vivo X90 Pro and Pro Plus feature a 32MP front-facing camera. The setup on the Pro model features an OIS-assisted 50MP Sony IMX866 main camera, a 50MP Sony IMX663 ultra-wide snapper with a 108-degree FOV, and a 12MP Sony IMX663 portrait lens on the back panel. On the other hand, the Vivo X90 Pro Plus features a 1-inch Sony IMX989 50MP primary sensor with the industry’s only f1.75 aperture along with a 48MP Sony IMX598 ultra-wide lens, a 50MP Sony IMX758 portrait sensor with OIS support, and a 64MP periscope zoom lens with 90mm focal length 10x optical zoom. Both devices are featuring ZEISS T optical lens, ToF laser autofocus, and Vivo V2 ISP. The Vivo X90 Pro series is coming with IP68 certification.
Under the hood, the Vivo X90 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 mobile processor while the Pro Plus model is powered by the latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile processor. Both devices are coming with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. The devices are also featuring a VC liquid cooling set up for heat dissipation.
The Vivo X90 Pro is backed by a 4,870mAh battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging while the Pro Plus is having a 4,700mAh battery with 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The devices are coming with an in-display fingerprint scanner for an additional layer of security. Both devices are running on Android 13 with OriginOS 3 out of the box.
Regarding the connectivity options, the devices are supporting 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.3, NFC, OTG, and a USB Type-C port. It is also supporting an infrared sensor as well.
In terms of pricing and availability, the Vivo X90 Pro pricing starts at RMB 4,999 while the Vivo X90 Pro Plus has a starting price of RMB 6,499. The devices will be available in China from December 6.
