Vivo has officially introduced its new Vivo Y600i smartphone in China with a large 8,000mAh battery along with a 120Hz display, and the device also comes with an IP69 rating. The device has the power of the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 mobile processor along with a 50 megapixel primary sensor. The device runs on the Android 16 operating system. The latest Vivo Y600i comes with a 6.87-inch LCD display with 1592 x 720 pixels resolution along with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device also features up to 1,300 nits in HBM mode and it also supports DC dimming and the device is certified by TÜV Rheinland.
It also houses a large 8,000mAh battery with up to 44W wired charging and wired reverse charging. The device has the power of the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor along with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage that can be expanded by up to 2TB via a memory card, while RAM expansion can add up to 12GB through Vivo’s memory-fusion technology.
The Vivo phone runs on Android 16 with OriginOS 6 out of the box. The device also supports anti-fraud protection for identifying scam calls. The new Vivo Y600i has a 50-megapixel f/1.8 rear camera with autofocus and an 8-megapixel front camera. The device also features a side-mounted capacitive fingerprint sensor. In terms of connectivity options, the device supports Bluetooth 5.1, dual-SIM 5G, USB Type-C and an infrared blaster. It also comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings and SGS five-star drop-resistance certification.
Regarding the pricing and availability. The new Vivo Y600i is priced at 1,999 Yuan and it will be available in China from September 30.
