The newly announced Vivo Y6a features a 6.75-inch LCD display with 1570 x 720 pixels resolution along with a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 1,200 nits of peak brightness. It has the power of the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 mobile processor along with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
It houses a massive 7,200mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging and the company says that the device can retain its health for up to six years, with a rated lifespan of 1,800 charging cycles.
The device also comes with a 50-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It also features an additional 8GB of virtual RAM and the Vivo phone runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 out of the box.
Vivo has introduced the new Vivo Y6a with features including stereo speakers, NFC, an IR blaster, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, face unlock, support, and IP69/IP68-rated water and dust resistance. The device also supports 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, and USB Type-C for connectivity. The device also supports aptX Adaptive audio codecs.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the latest Vivo Y6a smartphone is priced at 1,999 Yuan, and it is available in China. The device is available in Obsidian Black, Galaxy Silver, and Phoenix Gold colour options.
