Vodafone Idea has officially introduced the prepaid family plan with data sharing capability and it is really beneficial for family members to share their data.
Active Vodafone Idea prepaid subscribers can create a family group with up to 4 users. The group will include one primary account holder along with up to 3 secondary members. Family groups are not restricted to a single telecom circle and this is really good as family members can share data from different locations.
Each member keeps their existing prepaid plan and validity schedule but family members can get the ability to transfer up to 500 MB of data for transactions to assist any of the connected member. The group setup and data sharing are managed through the Vodafone Idea application. It is worth mentioning that participating members will be receiving discounts of up to 10 percentage on recharges completed through the platform.
