Last week we updated that the world’s most popular instant messaging application WhatsApp, is working on a new app which aims to the businesses. And now the has officially announced that company is building a new tools for small and large companies which includes verified accounts as well.
The company has announced that WhatsApp Business app is targeting to the small companies. However, the company is also working on an enterprise solution for the companies which operates at a very large scale such as airlines, e commerce websites and banks.
The WhatsApp Business app is free for small companies, but the enterprise solution for larger companies would be paid service. Moreover, WhatsApp has also started to verified profiles for businesses which will make it easier for people to communicate with businesses on the instant messaging application without worrying about the authenticity.
Speaking about the verified business accounts, you will be able to see a green badge right next to account’s name with a white colored tick mark inside it. When opening the verified business profile, you will be able to see details of a business such as working hours, links to social media accounts, addresses and more.
Right now all these things are under testing mode with a small number of companies, as part of pilot program and to collect more feedback to setup things in perfect way. So, let’s wait for the wide roll out of new tools by WhatsApp.
