WhatsApp is bringing the support for events in individual chats and this particular feature is available on the latest beta version of WhatsApp for Android.
The feature will enable you to schedule and manage events directly within your chats. So you can be able to plan your meetings or set reminders for events and co-ordinate personal inputs without the need of another service like the Google Calendar application.
There is no information about the availability of the feature in the stable version of WhatsApp at the moment of time but we believe that this feature will be available very soon.
