The social network application WhatsApp making headlines due to its security vulnerabilities and the company already advised its users to update to the latest version of WhatsApp, to avoid any kind of unwanted incident. In between that, today the company has updated its beta version for Android and brings new look emojis as well as Night Mode and this seems to replace the Dark Mode feature of the application.
According to WABetaInfo, the latest beta version 2.19.139 brings new design for 155 emojis and the emojis are expected to made available in the next stable version of the Instant messaging application. You can check out the difference between the old and new emojis in the images attached below.
Separately, in the v2.19.139 beta app, the source spotted Night Mode, and that’s a feature under development. It’s not enabled yet, so you won’t see it even if you’re on the latest update. The new update suggests that Dark Mode, a feature that has been spotted in testing in several past updates, has been renamed to Night Mode.
The dark mode feature is in demand from a long time and we expect that the developers of WhatsApp will bring the feature into the stable version of the application very soon and we recommend you to stay tuned with us for the latest updates.
