From a couple of months, we are hearing in about the Business app from WhatsApp. And in last month we saw the first look of the new app from the developers of world’s most favorite instant application. Now WhatsApp details about the new app on their FAQ page, and it suggests that the app is closer to come into the reality. As the company reveals more details of the new standalone app.
The company has revealed that the Business app will have three types of accounts, and they are; Certified, Confirmed and Business account. Let’s find out what is the difference between the three accounts.
- Certified: This type of account is meant that the company has certified this account belongs to a trusted brand. and this type of account will have a green checkmark badge on their profile.
- Confirmed: This type of account means, WhatsApp has confirmed the accounts phone number matches with the phone number of the businesses, and this kind of accounts will have a gray checkmark badge.
- Business account: It means that the account is working as a business account but it doesn’t certified or confirmed by the company, and it will have a gray question mark badge.
The company also said that users always have the authority to block any kind of business accounts and report them as spam if a user thinks so. Right now the WhatsApp Business app is currently testing with selected businesses, and if you have a business and interested to have a Business app account then sign up to the beta program.
