WhatsApp is now testing the global audio player on the WhatsApp desktop client and the same will enable users to listen to the audio messages while browsing other chats.
Well, you already know that you need to pause an audio message if you want to switch to any other WhatsApp conversation but this scenario will be changed with the new implementation as you can continue hearing to the audio messages while browsing other chats.
The feature is currently in the beta stage and we don’t have any timeline for the rollout of the feature in the stable version but we believe that the company will make it official very soon.
