The popular instant messaging application WhatsApp will soon be available on Apple CarPlay as today we got a new piece of information that says the company is testing a standalone application for CarPlay.
WhatsApp is currently testing the standalone application for Apple CarPlay, and the same is in beta testing. Users can able to use the new WhatsApp for CarPlay to view chat listings along with contact information and profile pictures. It will also enable you guys to check out the call history as well.
The application will also allow users to start calls directly from the screen of the car but sending messages is still not available via text which means you can only send the messages through voice input and this is mainly because of safety reasons. The application is also supporting light and dark modes and you can also set up a separate a tab for Android chats as well. So let’s wait for the stable version of the standalone application of WhatsApp.
