Another day another new feature on WhatsApp and now the developers of the instant messaging application has rolled out a new feature called text detection and the same is capable to extract text from images. The company is offering the new feature to all iOS 16 users.
It is reported that WhatsApp is implementing the new text detection feature for iOS and it will enable users to extract text from images. The new setup will definitely improve quality of life by extracting text from images quickly and this will help you in your daily routines. If you get an image from your friends or family containing any important information and you need to get the text for some purpose then you can immediately extract it from the image and copy paste it.

Having said that, the feature will not work with the images that sent as view once as the company is focusing on the privacy as well. The feature is currently in the beta stage and we believe that WhatsApp will be rolling out the same in the stable version very soon on iOS and Android platforms.
Apart from this, WhatsApp recently rolled out the voice note feature in the WhatsApp status section for iOS users as well.
