The most loved instant messaging application WhatsApp added video calling facility is last year, and now the developers of the app adds picture-in-picture feature. With this feature, video calls will be more convenient and the user can continue his or her browsing in the WhatsApp without missing view from the video.
As the picture-in-picture feature (PIP) is a part of the Android O OS, you need to have a Android O Developer Preview device to enjoy the particular feature in WhatsApp. The new feature is spotted in the version 2.17.265, WABetainfo tweets about the new feature. The source also says, that Android 8.0 has a particular API which was used by WhatsApp for enabling this feature.

The image from WABetainfo shows how will the feature will work, but there are few things to be known like will the PIP window can be move or will it stay at a fixed position. And will the feature will work if a user switch to other app, we have to wait for the wide roll out of this feature to get all the answers.
However, the new feature will be a game changer as it is really an useful addition. So, if you have Android O developer preview then you should be able to use the new feature and don’t forget to share your experience in the comment section below!
