The most favourite instant messaging application of this planet WhatsApp has rolled out multiple new features this year and now the company has introduced yet another new feature on the board and that is related to calling. With the new update, users can able to share links and recipients can able to join to the call by clicking on the shared link. The company is planning to expand the number of participants in a group call as well. So let’s check out the complete details about the new features of WhatsApp.
The new call links feature of WhatsApp will enable you to share a link for a call which is similar to the way how we share links of Google Meet or Zoom. The new functionality will enable multiple users to join a call by simply clicking on the link.
It is worth mentioning that the WhatsApp calls are end to end encrypted as well. WhatsApp has started to roll out the new call links feature and the same is available for both Android and iOS platforms.
You can able to create a link for your WhatsApp call by visiting the calls tab and the same is available at the top right corner of the user interface of WhatsApp.
Apart from this, WhatsApp has also announced that they are testing group video calls for up to 32 users at once which means the company is expanding the number of group call participants. WhatsApp will reveal more details about the same in the coming weeks.
