The newly introduced multi device feature will enable users to link up to four devices with their WhatsApp account which includes smartphones, tablets, and PCs. The feature will enable you to send and receive messages on any of the linked devices and the same will be synced across all devices for up to a year. That means now you don’t need to keep your primary device active all the time.
All chats, media, and calls will be end-to-end encrypted on every smartphone. Having said that, if the primary device is not active for a long time then WhatsApp will automatically logout from all other devices.
WhatsApp has started to roll out the feature worldwide and the same is available on both Android and iOS platforms.
