WhatsApp has added new options of bulleted, numbered lists, block quotes, and inline codes in addition to the already available options like bold, italic, and more. The new options will be available across all platforms including Android, iOS, Web, and Mac.
The new text formatting options will enable you to make bulleted lists on WhatsApp by typing the – symbol, followed by a space and you will see the bullet points immediately in your text box. The instant messaging application will also enable you to make numbered lists and you can do the same by simply typing 1 or 2 digits followed by a period and one space.
WhatsApp is also offers a block quotes option and the same will help you to highlight key text and make the text more noticeable in messages. This can be done by simply typing the > symbol followed by a space. WhatsApp also features the new Inline Code and the same will help to distinguish a particular information in your message. You can use this feature with the` symbol.
The new text formatting options are available for individual chats along with the group chats and Channels. The new text formats with definitely enhance the writing experience and you can able to share any type of content in the form of WhatsApp messages. For example, you can create a resume in WhatsApp using the new text formats without the help of any professional software like MS Word.
