The world’s favourite instant messaging application Instagram has introduced a new web browser called Code Verify and the same will enable users to know whether the WhatsApp web version is authenticated and the same can automatically verify the authenticity of the WhatsApp Web code being served to you and it also confirms that your account is secure. 

The newly unveiled Code Verify extension has been developed in partnership with Cloudflare, and the same is a very popular and reliable Web infrastructure and security company. The newly introduced extension is available as an open-source project and the same can be downloaded on popular browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, and Edge, 

It is worth mentioning that the latest WhatsApp Code Verify extension is capable to check the resources on the entire webpage to verify the authenticity whenever you open the WhatsApp web on your device and the extension will run automatically as well. If everything is correct and secure then it will display a green checkmark. It is also confirmed that the new extension will not read or access messages which is pretty good to know as well.
