The developers of WhatsApp have implemented the in-app dialer on the board and that means you can make calls directly using WhatsApp. This particular implementation is eliminating the procedure of saving a number for just making a WhatsApp call as now you can simply dial a number using the in-app dialler and you can make a call directly using the instant messaging application.
The in-app dialer feature of WhatsApp is currently in the beta stages and the same is expected to be available very soon for the users of Android.
