It is also reported that the company is removing the quick replies feature from the non-business accounts of the messenger. WhatsApp reportedly making changes on the board
According to a report by WABetaInfo, the instant messaging application is working on the new ‘Yearly reminder of our Terms of Service’ and the same will be available on the settings page of the messaging application. It is currently spotted in the latest beta version of WhatsApp for the Android platform. The new entry will showcase a green dot on the Help page in the settings of the instant messaging application WhatsApp and the same will bring the attention of the user about the yearly reminder for the Terms of Service.
It is worth mentioning that the new change will be available in India only and that is to comply with the Information Technology Rules (IT Rules) 2021.
The source also tipped that the developers of WhatsApp are planning to remove the quick replies feature from the regular WhatsApp users as the quick replies feature meant for the WhatsApp Business users but the same was introduced for the non business users as well and this particular feature enables you to save few replies to send immediately with a shortcut.
