The latest update of WhatsApp will now enable group admins to control the joining of new members in a group and the new update is also offering many new features especially for the groups of the instant messaging application. With the new update, the group admins of WhatsApp getting new approval feature and the same will enable group admins to control who can join in a group. That means now no one can join by simply clicking the inviting link of a WhatsApp group. This will also help group admins to keep the quality of a group and also keep away unwanted people in the group.
You can enable the feature by going to the group where you want to enable the future and simply tap on the Group Settings. After that, you will find the Approve New Participants toggle, simply turn it on to manage the approval of a new member. After enabling the new feature, the group admins can see members’ join requests and you can simply approve or reject the request.
Apart from that, now you can able to search someone who is part of a common group. You can search for the contact name in the instant messaging application and the same will offer the groups in common. You need to select their name at the top of the chat window and scroll down to check groups in common.
