The developers of the world’s most favourite instant messaging application WhatsApp are currently working on a new capability that will make your chat transferring easier. It is reported that the company is currently working on the cloudless chat transfer feature and the same will enable you to easily move your chats from your old smartphone to a new Android smartphone. It is worth mentioning that the feature is currently testing for the Android platform.
The new feature will be available in the WhatsApp settings option and users can able to move chats by simply clicking on the new option and you need to scan a QR code in the old phone after setting up the instant messaging application on the new Android smartphone.
The feature is currently under development stage and there is no information about the exact rolling out date of the same. With the new feature, users will able to transfer their chats without depending on Google Drive.
