We share lots of messages and media on WhatsApp on regular basis and we also take a backup of our conversations on Google Drive on daily basis or at a regular interval. Now we got a new piece of information that suggests WhatsApp is working on a new setup that will enable users to export chat backup.
According to a report, the instant messaging application is currently working on an option that will enable users to export their chat backup from Google Drive and this will allow to save the backups locally which means on the device. It is also said that the backup will include the complete chat history imploding messages, images, videos, and other media files.
The feature is currently testing for the Android platform and it is yet to be available for the beta testers as well.
Apart from this, it is also reported that the instant messaging application WhatsApp has started to test the ability for its business users to check device information about the outgoing messages if there are other linked devices and the same will happen only if it is happening on the same account.
So let’s wait for the upcoming changes on the board and we recommend you to stay tuned with us for more interesting information from the technological world at your fingertips.
