After successful testing the Coloured Text Status feature in the beta version, the developers of the world’s most favourite instant messaging application WhatsApp rolls out the feature to the stable version of Android and IOS devices. The feature works same as it works on the WhatsApp’s Parent company Facebook, where users can add coloured background when uploading a text based status.
The new feature on WhatsApp will allow you to update your statuses in a more fun, you will able to pick a specific font and a background colour when you share your status. After updating WhatsApp to the latest version, for Android users; you will see a floating pen icon at the bottom of the status tab (above the camera icon). By tapping on it and you will see three options, emoji, text and the colour changing option.
When you are done writing the status and making the needful changes, hit the green send button to upload your text status just like you do when you upload your normal media content in the status. As soon as you publish your status it will be live on WhatsApp for all your contact as per your privacy setting.
