WhatsApp now become the primary medium of communication as everyone uses the same to send texts and for calling purposes. However, it is also a platform for spammers as well. As we know that WhatsApp is having use user base and that is being utilized by spammers to spread unwanted messages.
WhatsApp is offering various methods to prevent the same with its filters and the ability to block that particular number as well but it is a process of opening the conversation then you need to go to the menu and block that particular number.
Well, the scenario is going to be changed very soon as today we got a new piece of information which is suggesting that the developers of WhatsApp are currently working on a new block shortcut and the same will appear in the chat notification panel.
With the block shortcut, you can able to block someone directly from the notification panel without opening the instant messaging application and that particular conversation.
It is worth mentioning that the block shortcut will not appear always as it will only be visible when you receive a message from unsaved or untrusted contact.
