After Android, now it seems that WhatsApp is gearing up to bring the green dot Online contact indicator on the iOS platform as the company has started to test this particular feature.
The latest beta version of WhatsApp for iOS has this particular feature and it will offer a small green circle at the bottom right corner of a contact photo in the contact info screen when the contact is online.
This particular feature will be working in a real time so the green circle will disappear whenever the contact is not online. It is also said that the contact info screen is the only place where the green dot indicator is displayed.
