The popular instant messaging application WhatsApp is reportedly testing the new Augmented reality feature to enhance the calling experience on both mobile and desktop.
It is reported that the new AR features in the latest WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.13.14 update and the feature will be introducing call effects and filters. The developers of WhatsApp are also working on a redesigned calling screen with three tabs (filters, background, and effects) at the bottom side of the screen.
WhatsApp will be offering a face editing and magic wand icon and the same will be available at the top left corner of the screen. We don’t have any information about the availability of the new features on WhatsApp at the moment of time but we are looking forward to learn more about the upcoming features in the coming days.
