We usually create temporary Groups for family functions or any other events and it is time consuming to find that particular group and leaving from it. The new expiring group feature is currently testing in the latest beta version of WhatsApp for iOS. As the name suggests, the group will be expired automatically after the set time.
The feature will be available in the group info section for everyone to access and users will be able to select from various expiry dates such as in one day, in one week, custom date, and also an option to remove the expiration date if you find the group very useful.
It is worth mentioning that the upcoming feature is personal in nature and the feature will not be applied to the remaining members of the group. That means when you set the expiry date then you will be leaving from the group and the other members will continue in the same group.
