The upcoming guest chats feature of WhatsApp will enable you to send a chat link via text message, email, or social media to people in your contacts who don’t have the app or an active WhatsApp account.
Once the link is opened, the non WhatsApp user will be transferred to a platform similar to WhatsApp Web and they can be able to chat with you on WhatsApp with end to end encryption.
Having said that, the upcoming feature has multiple limitations as you want to be able to send media files, GIFs, voice messages, and you can’t even make a video call as well.
The new setup will be working on the ecosystem of WhatsApp and the new feature is expected to be implemented very soon on Android and iOS.
