The popular instant messaging application WhatsApp recently updated its status tray and now it offers a large thumbnail to view the status in a better manner before opening it.
WhatsApp is testing the new feature dubbed “ranked status updates,” and the future is currently available in the beta version for the Android platform.
The new feature will be giving importance on the updates from your most important contacts that means instead of showing updates in strictly chronological order, WhatsApp will intelligently reorder them.
It will be based on various factors including how often you contact that particular contact like whether it is pinned to the top of your chats, and how recently you’ve messaged them.
