After that, the WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.23.12.3 update introduced a new style for toggles, that matches with the Material Design 3 guidelines. Now in the latest WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.23.12.15 update is bringing another significant change.
It is confirming that WhatsApp is planning to revamp the floating action button and the same will enable users to quickly initiate new chats. We can see that the button is having a square shape with slightly rounded edges, which is again suggesting that the platform is following the Material Design 3 guidelines.
