Well, now it seems that the developers of the instant messenger finally all set to implement the same, as a screenshot surfaced online which confirms the ability of the feature and the number of devices.
According to the source, WhatsApp is testing the multi device support and the same will allow users to connect the app up to 4 devices and a screenshot of the functionality is also surfaced online which suggests that the app will use Wi-Fi connectivity to sync data across the multiple devices.
