Last year, the developers of the world’s most favourite instant messaging application WhatsApp continuously introduced multiple new features on the board. Now we got a new piece of information that says the developers are currently working on a new file-sharing feature and the same will be similar to Android’s quick share feature. So without making any further delay let’s get into the article to check out the new information.
It is said that WhatsApp is currently experimenting a new feature for sharing files with nearby contacts and this feature is testing in the latest beta version for Android.
The new feature uses Bluetooth and it will enable you to share files upto 2GB in size. The new experiment will be offering a quick and the better convenient option compared to the traditional options like sending files through chat or using cloud storage.
You need to be in the ‘share files’ section of WhatsApp to transfer files and you must stay in that particular section until the transfer process completes. The method will be end to end encrypted which means the file sharing is as secure as other WhatsApp chats.
It is also said that users need to shake their phones to start the sharing procedure. We don’t have any idea about the availability of the new feature in the stable version of WhatsApp but we believe that the developers will be releasing the same very soon. Don’t forget to share your thoughts about the new feature in the comments section below and stick with us for more updates from the world of technology.
