WhatsApp, the world’s most favourite instant messaging application is gaining more and more new features. We are also hearing about many upcoming features as well and that includes WhatsApp Communities and more. It was recently reported that the company is planning to bring a subscription plan on the board to offer businesses some extra features. Now some of them are officially confirmed by the backbone of the company Mark Zuckerberg and WhatsApp has also confirmed to launch a free cloud based API services to push more businesses using the app.
The instant messaging application already has an API, or type of software interface that enable businesses to connect their systems and engage in customer service chats and now the company is planning to boost this setup.
WhatsApp has also confirmed that it was planning to provide optional paid features as part of a new premium service for users on its business application, which is geared at small businesses.
The upcoming features are in the developing stage and that includes the option to link up to 10 devices using multi device support of the app and the company will also offer customized click-to-chat links that businesses can post on their websites and share with customers.
