WhatsApp has gained several new features in the recent time and now we got a new piece of information that suggests the company is currently working on new voice status feature and the same with enable users to set voice notes as your status. It is currently supporting images and videos as a status on the board.
According to a report by WABetaInfo, this instant messaging application WhatsApp is currently improving its status section and it will enable users to set voice message as status and the feature spotted in v2.22.16.3 WhatsApp beta for Android.
The feature is currently in the developing stages and the same is not visible on the latest beta version of the messaging application. The source has also showcased a screenshot with the new capability and that is having a voice note icon at the bottom of the status tab. The upcoming voice status will be protected by end-to-end encryption and it will be visible to individuals selected within the status privacy settings.
We need to wait for the official announcement of the new capability of WhatsApp but we believe that the company will roll out the new feature very soon.
