The popular instant messaging application offers a web version and a desktop application which means you are not limited to the smartphone to get connected with your near and dear ones. You can communicate with your people on your computer as well. The web client and desktop application of Whatsapp features all the capabilities of mobile applications but we were not able to upload our status from the computer. To share a new update to the status section, we need to use the mobile phone as the mobile application of WhatsApp allows the capability.
However, it is now history. As the developers of WhatsApp have implemented a new code to the system and the same will make things more easy and convenient. The web version of WhatsApp has been updated and the same features status upload capability.
You need to visit the status section on WhatsApp Web and you will find a + icon on the top of the screen. You can share anything similar to the mobile application which makes the platform will enable you to share photos and videos along with text as well as links as your status from your computer.
