The instant messaging application WhatsApp is gaining lots of interesting and helpful features in the recent time and now it is reported that the developers are working on a new capability that will enable you to save the disappearing messages. As you know that WhatsApp currently enables you to send disappearing messages to contacts with a time limit, and the same will be automatically deleted after that particular time. But if you want to keep those messages if the conversation is having some important information then what will you do? Well, WhatsApp is reportedly testing a new feature and the same will enable you to save messages on a temporary basis.
The instant messaging application will be offering a visual indicator on the chat, and the same will help you to understand the difference between disappearing messages and saved ones.
It is worth mentioning that the “Saved message” indicator will be similar to the Star icon appears on any message and the same will enable you to pin regular WhatsApp messages to let you immediately access later.
The saved chats in disappearing mode will be available after the expiry date which is set by a user. The feature will also enable users to unsave messages at any point of time and then the chat will be deleted automatically.
It is worth mentioning that the new capability has been spotted in 2.23.1.11 Android beta update and the same will be rolled out to the beta users in the coming weeks as currently the feature is under development.
