At Google I/O 2017, Google made many new interesting announcements. One of those announcement is the Android Go. Android Go is a new OS that will be available & works for low-end phones. In simple language it’s the Lite version of Android. Now the question which is raising the most is that will this program is going to replace Android One program? Now we have an official answer to that as well.
Android Authority asked this question from Arpit Mehta, Product Manager for Android Go. & They got the answer that Android Go will not replace Android One, the Android One program is for mid-range segment while Android Go is for entry-level segment. Android Authority also asked the same question from Sundar Pichai, Google’s CEO. & He got the same reply that it will not replace Android One. Both are 2 different products that functions under Android Ecosystem.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. Google officials has given a confirmation to this question & we are excited to see both programs working differently, maybe we might see a good mid-range phone. Stay tuned with us for more information.
