It is reported that the upcoming Windows 12 operating system may require at least 8GB RAM, doubling Windows 11’s requirement. There is no information about the storage requirements for the new operating system but it is believed that Microsoft might drop hard disk drives (HDD) and the company will support only solid-state drives (SSD) for software installation.
The source is also saying that the operating system could be compatible with Intel’s 14th Gen Meteor Lake-S desktop processors.
It is also said that the upcoming Windows 12 will support the same TPM 2.0 Trusted Platform Module for security.
