Xiaomi 12 series has been launched globally and it was originally announced in the market of China in the last days of 2021. The latest Xiaomi 12 series is coming with heavy specifications along with an amazing camera setup. It is running on the latest version of the Android Operating System out of the box. Xiaomi 12 

The latest Xiaomi 12 features a 6.28-inch full-HD+ with AMOLED display along with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 1,100 nits of peak brightness and a 120Hz refresh rate. it is also featuring a punch-hole set up at the centre position of the screen and the same has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection as well as Dolby Vision. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC along with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 onboard storage. The Xiaomi 12 runs on Android-based MIUI 13.

Regarding the camera department, Xiaomi 12 houses a triple rear camera setup consisting a 50-megapixel primary lens with an f/1.88 lens followed by a 13-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.4 ultra-wide lens, supports a field of view of 123 degrees, and a 5-megapixel macro shooter. It also features a 32-megapixel selfie camera and the same features Stagger HDR and artificial intelligence (AI) based beautification features.

Xiaomi 12 Pro features a 6.73-inch WQHD+ E5 AMOLED display with 3200 X 1440 pixels resolution along with a punch-hole set up at the centre position of the screen. The display is also featuring 1,500 nits of peak brightness as well as a 120Hz dynamic refresh rate. It has the support of a 480Hz touch sampling rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It is also featuring a low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO) backplane technology. The device is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC along with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. 

Speaking about the camera department, the latest Xiaomi 12 Pro houses a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an OIS-supported wide-angle f/1.9 lens along with a 50-megapixel portrait sensor and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide shooter. It is also featuring a 32-megapixel selfie camera sensor.

Regarding the connectivity options, the device features 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, Infrared (IR), and a USB Type-C port.

Xiaomi 12X 

Xiaomi 12X sports the same 6.28-inch display that is available on the regular Xiaomi 12. The device has an identical triple rear camera setup. It packs the same 4,500mAh battery.

The Xiaomi 12X has the support of an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. It also houses up to 12GB of RAM. The smartphone has up to 256GB of onboard storage.

Pricing and availability 

The pricing of Xiaomi 12 starts at $749 while the latest Xiaomi 12 Pro starts at $999 and Xiaomi 12X price starts at $649. There is no information about the availability of the smartphone series in India at this moment of time.
