The Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi will launch its latest Xiaomi 12S series later today and the smartphone series will include the Xiaomi 12S, Xiaomi 12S Pro, and Xiaomi 12S Ultra. We came across multiple reports about the upcoming smartphone series and now some important specifications of the Xiaomi 12S Pro have been revealed officially. It seems that Xiaomi founder and CEO Lei Jun has seemingly teased the Dimensity edition of the Pro variant of the smartphone series and it is believed that the Xiaomi phone with the 2206122SC model number will debut as the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 variant of the Xiaomi 12S Pro while the Xiaomi phone with a 2207122MC model number could be the Dimensity edition.
Coming back to the recently revealed information, the upcoming Xiaomi 12S Pro smartphone is confirmed to feature a 6.73-inch AMOLED LTPO display along with 2K resolution. It is also revealed that the device will support a 1Hz–120Hz refresh rate along with 522ppi pixel density and 1,500 nits of brightness.
Xiaomi 12S Pro is also confirmed to support a 120W fast charging technology and it is claimed that the device will be charged within 19 minutes. The device will also support 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging.
It is also revealed that the device will feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX707 main camera along with a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens with a field of view of 115 degrees and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera on the back.
Separately, the poster of the upcoming Xiaomi 12S Ultra appears online and we can able to see a leather back. It is worth mentioning that the previous reports suggested that the device will feature a ceramic back variant.
Coming back to the poster, the top portion of the back panel of the device is featuring a large round-shaped camera module and we can’t spot the secondary display which was available in the predecessor.
Having said that, the company recently revealed that the upcoming Xiaomi 12S Ultra will feature a 1-inch Sony IMX989 primary camera.
