The Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi is working on the upcoming Xiaomi 12S series and the flagship smartphone series will include the Xiaomi 12S and the Xiaomi 12S Pro. The devices are believed to be powered by the Snapdragon and MediaTek mobile chipsets. Now a new device of the company has appeared in the database of the 3C authority of China and the listing makes us believe that it could be the Xiaomi 12S Pro and the same will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile processor.
An upcoming Xiaomi smartphone with model number 2206122SC has made its entry on the 3C’s database and the listing reveals that the device will be official with a charger that has an MDY-12-ED model number. It is also suggested that the charger will support up to 120W of fast charging.
The upcoming Xiaomi 12S Pro is expected to feature a curved edge OLED display along with a Quad HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. This Smartphone is also believed to feature a 32-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel triple camera setup on the back panel.
It is also believed that the device will house a 4,500mAh battery and it will be running on the latest Android 12 OS and MIUI 13.
The smartphone series is expected to be official next month in China but we don’t have any information on the exact launching date at this moment of time.
